A milestone plan with a fixed price per milestone, what is explicitly out of scope, and the assumptions we are making. Usually within one week.

Work starts when you sign off a milestone — and changes go through written change control you approve before they cost anything.

How do engagements usually start?
With a free working session — usually 60–90 minutes with a senior engineer, not a salesperson. We dig into your goals and current systems, and you leave with an honest written assessment whether or not you hire us. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and usually point you somewhere better.
Do you work fixed-price or time-and-materials?
Both, deliberately. Project work is fixed-price per milestone so you approve cost before work begins. Dedicated teams and managed services are monthly. What we avoid is the open-ended hourly engagement with no defined outcome — it misaligns incentives, and misaligned incentives are how IT projects go bad.
Who actually does the work?
The people you meet. Our engineers are senior — 5+ years of hands-on experience each — and we do not run a bait-and-switch where seniors sell and juniors deliver. Project teams are typically 2–5 people with a named tech lead you can message directly.
Who owns the code and infrastructure?
You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts, and credentials are created in your name. If we part ways, you keep everything including documentation — our contracts have no lock-in clauses, and we are happy to have your lawyer verify that.
